Product Designer

Our mission at Airtable is to democratize software creation. Every community, curator, and corgi parent has different goals. Their potential amplifies if they have the right tools to help get work done. Before Airtable, building custom software was gated by specialized knowledge, time, and high costs. With great design, we can remove these barriers — orders of magnitude more people will have the power of software engineering in their hands! Our challenge is to evolve and reinterpret decades-old concepts such as database creation, control flow, and usability into an accessible platform that anyone is empowered to use. We’re looking for product designers to contribute to this challenge from start to finish. That means we’re asking ourselves lots of questions about the following: How do people manage their processes today? (Spoiler: some of the wildest Excels you’ve ever seen.) What would the ideal software solution look like?
