Laboratory Services Supervisor (M/F/D)

The Opportunity: Avantor is looking for a motivated and customer-centric Laboratory Services Supervisor to join the team based in Reading. In this position, you’ll have an ownership of line managing a small team of Laboratory Production Operatives and spend majority of the time being operational and helping your team preparing materials for Production Team. This role is heavily focused on hands-on support – receiving goods-in (consumables), recovering hardware materials, media preparation etc. You’ll spend 80/90% of your time in laboratory, performing Laboratory Production Operative’s tasks. For first 3-6 months you’ll only be providing operational support, and after successfully completing probation period, you’ll take responsibility of managing a team. This role will be a full-time, permanent position based in Hichrom in Reading - The Markham Centre, Station Road, Theale, RG7 4PE.
