Company Description Canam Bridges designs, manufactures and installs steel bridges for major infrastructure contractors across North America. Different levels and pay structure based on skill and education.SECOND SHIFTCompetitive Shift Differential Fit and assemble structural framework, components and materials in various shapes, sizes and designs such as but not limited to: angle, I beam and other steel components in compliance with the corporate mission and values, and departmental financial objectives. Essential Functions:

• Layout, position, align and fit together the fabricated parts of structural components according to shop drawings or prints and layout specifications;    
• Operate cutting and heating torches;
• Check camber and sweep tolerances of girders and beams and be able to effectively make necessary corrections per pertinent codes and specifications;
• Tack weld in all positions using multiple welding processes;
• Grind parts, torque bolts and operate mechanical and manual cutting equipment;
• Produce a finished product that meets recognized standards, codes and customer expectations by maintaining quality procedures and practices;
