Sr. Technical Instructor

While candidates in the listed location(s) are encouraged for this role, candidates in other locations will be considered. As a Senior Technical Instructor, you will deliver project-based training to Databricks customers for data science, MLOps, and/or data engineering. You will train data scientists, ML engineers, and data engineers at companies ranging from the Fortune 500 to early stage startups across all industry verticals. Once travel and in-person events safely resume you will also conduct training in person. We are looking for experienced instructors with a background in data science or data engineering with specializations in one or more of the following: machine learning algorithms, statistics, distributed computing, cloud technologies, deep learning, data engineering, and streaming operations. • Deliver hands-on training remotely and in person to data practitioners (data scientists, ML engineers, data engineers, and data analysts).
• Travel is primarily within the United States, with occasional international travel
• Influence the direction of the curriculum development team, including technical curriculum, lab exercises, presentations, and certifications
