About the role

At Evotec, the Global IT team is looking for additional resources with a technical background able to support and to enhance the team in the IT environment. We are looking for people interested in growing and learning in a Research Pharmaceutical advanced sector. Communication skills, flexibility and open-mindedness are essential. Enthusiasm, passion and accountability are very appreciated.

Responsibilities

### Responsibility for the Linux system landscape - Ubuntu and the optimization of the existing Linux server environment.
### Automation (Ansible) of server and application installation and improvement of continuous delivery pipelines
### Operation of container infrastructures under Kubernetes
### Planning and implementation of changes, support with performance and error analyses
### Release and patch management
### Design and further development of the current Kubernetes environment
### Advising the departments on complex technical issues
### Implementation and support of requirements from the Evotec environment
### Design, deploy, and maintain Linux-based servers, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
### Document processes, procedures, and configurations related to Kubernetes and Rancher environments ### Qualifications
### Successfully completed studies in the IT field or an apprenticeship in the same field with appropriate professional experience
