Senior Platform Data Engineer

Flow Traders is looking for a Senior Platform Data Engineer to join our growing Data team in our Amsterdam office. We value quick-witted, creative minds and challenge them to make full use of their capacities.  Platform Data Engineers at Flow Traders are responsible for maximizing the value of our data. You will develop and maintain platform capabilities like self service offerings to Data platform users, improve resource utilization on platform and deliver business use cases. Working closely with Quantitative Traders and Fundamental Analysts, you will make data available, performant and accessible, choosing the right technology for the task. Platform capabilities include but are not limited to: Self-service ETL templates, Self-service job scheduler, self-provisioning of user clusters, value added services (monitoring & alerting), configurable Data Quality rules, Metadata Management, decisions on data modelling/ data storage/data format. Proposing and implementing new platform capabilities/technology.
