Incoming Quality Inspector

As an Incoming Quality Inspector at IDEXX's worldwide headquarters, you will perform visual, mechanical and function inspection, analysis and/or testing for conformance with established specifications. You will also complete documentation, paperwork and data entry to support inspection procedures. Global IDEXX QA systems provides the foundational support for product excellence. In partnership with the business, we ensure processes, programs and metrics are embedded in the organization to enable delivery of consistent product quality, customer loyalty, meeting global regulatory requirements and product supply. Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesMay be responsible for any or all of the following:

• Perform inspections, analysis and/or testing to specifications, requirements, and industry standards, using specialized instruments as needed.
• Complete related documentation, paperwork and data entry.
• Collect and provide reports and data to management; and assist with completing surveys, audits and certification.
• Maintain current procedures and SOPs; identify and recommend process improvements and new procedures; and assist in implementing changes.
• Manage special handling requirements for hazardous material as needed. Education
• High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Associates degree or equivalent preferred. Required Skills & Abilities
• Ability to read, interpret and carry out detailed instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
