About the role
SUMMARY: Reviews all component and raw material requirements. Provides suppliers with quantity and delivery schedules required to meet production schedules and manufacturing levels in accordance with current purchasing contracts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Review materials requirements Release material schedules to suppliers Maintain inventory levels Follow up on supplier schedules Monitor supplier receipts Attend inventory reviews QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Knowledge of MRP Systems Knowledge of Bills of Material Structure Knowledge of Inventory Systems Computer system operations skills Ability to solve problems, analyze data and to contribute to goals and objectives EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years of Material Scheduling Experience Business degree preferred Automotive experience preferred
