About the role

Your Responsibilities

As a Purchasing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the purchasing process within the organization. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating contracts, and overseeing the acquisition of hardware, software, and services essential for the company's IT infrastructure. Your primary objective will be to ensure that the organization's IT needs are met efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to optimize purchasing processes and drive innovation in IT procurement.In this context your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop procurement strategies aligned with the company's objectives and budgetary constraints
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships to ensure favorable terms and conditions
  • Oversee the entire purchasing process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Oversee IT inventory levels, monitor asset lifecycles, and implement asset tracking systems to optimize resource utilization and prevent unnecessary purchases
  • Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate pricing discounts, and implement cost-effective procurement practices
  • Work closely with finance teams to develop IT procurement budgets, track spending, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or performance
