About the role

Lightspeed is looking to add to its rapidly growing Capital team. We are looking for someone with an analytical mind, who loves to problem solve and build reports + dashboards to join our Capital Analytics Team. The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing data to provide actionable insights for our organization. This role involves gathering, interpreting, and visualizing data from various sources to help inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth. You will work closely with business stakeholders to properly capture their reporting needs and convert them into actionable insights. Please note: You are required to work 3 days/week in the MONTREAL office for this role.What you'll do:

Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into business trends.
Identify and interpret patterns and trends in complex datasets to uncover opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
Build report-building interfaces using LookML and SQL to enable business users to have access to their own data and be able to answer their business questions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
