International Tax Manager

Manage foreign countries’ income tax provisions to be in accordance with ASC 740, host country tax compliance, tax planning, and tax audits. Develop and implement internal procedures to manage tax risks.QUALIFICATIONS Degree in Accounting, Masters in Accounting, or Masters in Taxation; CPA preferred. 7+ years tax experience in industry/accounting firm. 2+ years international tax experience preferred. Familiarity with of U.S. income tax reporting standards ASC 740 (f/k/a SFAS 109). Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Travel may be required (domestic and international). • Manage quarterly and annual foreign countries’ income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, with assistance from external contractor and Region Controllers.
• Work closely with Region Controllers and other departments (Accounting, Marketing, Operations, Treasury, and Legal).
• Manage foreign countries’ tax calendar.
• Review of statutory accounts and foreign tax filings.
• Manage foreign country tax audits.
• Responsible for host country tax planning and tax structure maintenance.
• Work closely with Treasury and Tax Director to develop host country cash repatriation and cash funding strategies.
• Develop and maintain tax structures for new markets.
• Review tax clauses for customer and vendor contracts.
