Assembly Technician

Its proprietary data and algorithms provide the most advanced maritime, aviation, and weather tracking in the world. In addition to its constellation, Spire’s data infrastructure includes a global ground station network and 24/7 operations that provide real-time global coverage of every point on Earth. Spire Global is seeking an assembly technician for a new and exciting product line. The products are complex electromechanical devices which will be deployed in harsh environments in the field (outdoors). The role will require a range of skills, from analytical thinking to hands-on implementation and testing. Spire anticipates producing on the order of 1000 device/year.Responsibilities:

• Device assembly: Assemble electromechanical devices according to provided schematics, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Contribute to developing assembly and testing processes, setting up facilities and drafting instructions.
• Install and integrate components such as computers, RF receivers, antennas, power supplies, and ancillary circuitry with precision and attention to detail.
• Conduct thorough quality checks at each stage of assembly to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
