The operation builds on Wilhelmsen’s expertise in ship operation and Kongsberg Maritime’s technology. We offer services for the customers’ entire value chain for autonomous ships; from vessel design and approval from relevant authorities, to control systems, logistics services, vessel operations, insurance, and possible assistance on financing. By leveraging our two owners strong organizations we offer the skills, resources and experience needed to provide a full-service offering. The aim for Massterly is to enable a shift in transport from road to sea; through cost-effective, safe, and environmentally friendly logistics. Short-sea shipping is today competing with cheap, but polluting trucks that are stuck in traffic. Autonomy reduces operating expenses and opens a new market for the maritime industry. Massterly is looking for the right person to be a part of a maintenance crew, for permanent and an on-call duty, to be part of a green shipping project.
