Insurance Fraud Analyst

The Major Case Intelligence team is responsible for safeguarding Aviva Canada from fraud and financial crime threats. They play a crucial role in the oversight of threats impacting both our customers and business through investigations and strategic decision-making. This role responsible for identifying patterns and trends, completing high quality intelligence-based investigations and projects, determining our organizations risk and exposure, then disseminating the information and actions to key stakeholders. • Build investigation strategy, gather and analyze facts, manage case files, and ensure proper documentation and collection of physical or electronic evidence
• Analyze datasets to pro-actively detect new or emerging trends for Aviva Canada
• Manage incoming intelligence from internal and external sources; assess Aviva’s exposure, ascertain risk and disseminate to key partners
• Use available systems, tools, open-source and social media sites to support fraud investigations to identify key perpetrators and organized crime groups targeting the business
