About the role

The Project Manager coordinates and manages technical offshore projects, leading modifications, upgrades, installations, and recertifications for MODU equipment. They oversee and manage project teams while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, manages risks, controls costs, and drives change. The PM is responsible for delivering projects within time and budget, ensuring high-quality outcomes in planning, engineering, execution, and documentation. Ensures high-quality specifications, scoping and safety awareness. Fosters engagement and promotes feedback and learning culture. Accountable for overall and detailed design development, compliance with requirements and regulations. Drives improvements in project management processes and reports projects to management. Responsible for project oversight and seamless transition between project phases, ensuring proper handover to operations or external client.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in engineering, shipbuilding, offshore projects, or drilling operations.
  • Minimum 3+ years of international Project Management or internal project engineer experience with a proven track record of participating in large scale engineering and construction projects.
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management philosophies like (PMP, CSM, PRINCE2 or similar).
  • Computer literate and familiar with software such as IFS and MS office 365.
  • Proficiency in project planning tools such as Project Home and MS Project.
